The sugarcane plantations are located in the South-Central region of Brazil, more than 2,000 km (1,200 miles) from the Amazon Region. The expansion of areas used to plant sugarcane is governed by Sugarcane Agroecological Zoning. The ethanol used to make the polyethylene is purchased from different suppliers that are selected accordingly with the Code of Conduct for Ethanol Suppliers. This Code of Conduct takes into account aspects related to compliance with Brazilian Law and respect for biodiversity.

Orsing’s products are produced from suppliers that strictly adhere to this Code of Conduct.

CE marking according to MDR

J.H. Orsing AB are proud to announce that we have received our new CE registration according to MDR regulations. Our new CE mark, CE2862 Intertek, will be introduced stepwise from upcoming fall. Our products will get a new look, to mark the start and to fulfil the new MDR regulations. Our MDR certificate also means that we secure the opportunity for our customers to work with Orsing and our products in the future.

Inventor of CareShield® awarded

Mats Norman, Dentist and Head of Operations at Tandläkarna Norman in Uddevalla, has been awarded the Gold Heart, a prize instituted by Praktikertjänst, in the category best innovation. Together with Orsing, Mats Norman developed his idea of CareShield: from pet bottle to finished product.

New Eco-Friendly Aspirator: Hygo® Tip XL Bio

Hygo® Tip XL Bio is an environment friendly aspirator fitting 16 mm systems. It is manufactured of autoclavable bio-based plastic made of sugar canes. Unlike conventional plastics where fossil raw materials such as oil and natural gas are used, sugar cane is a completely renewable resource.

Orsing launches a new range of sustainable aspirator tubes made from renawable resources

Helsingborg, Sweden, March 2018 – Swedish based manufacturer Orsing introduces two new aspirator tubes in the Hygovac range. Hygovac Bio is an aspirator tube made entirely of sustainable bio-based polyethylene and will come in two new sizes, providing an opportunity to choose a length which suits the treatment.
